· I Direct and Produce T.U.F Productions’ Theatre pieces, facilitate Forum (Participatory) Arts workshops and managing the daily smooth running of T.U.F Productions.

 

Extras Trainee Director (Nov 2003 – Jan 2004)

Hotel Rwanda, 2004 (35mm Lions Gate Films) Directed by Terry George Johannesburg, South Africa

Responsibilities:

· Hotel Rwanda film had many extras so I was responsible for the soldiers, leading and giving them some basic directions on set. I was also responsible for explaining to them each and every scene they were participating in so that they would have a clear picture of what was happening.

Hillbrow Theatre Johannesburg, South Africa

· I was directing, producing M.U.K.A Project’s Theatre plays, managing Arts workshops at Hillbrow Theatre i.e. children’s theatre program, women in arts program and Youth Theatre program. I also did fundraising for M.U.K.A Project and acted as their Tour manager during international tours.

Responsibilities:

· I was in daily contact with clients, Funders, Sponsors abroad and locally.

· I was also co-ordinating Arts festivals at Hillbrow Theatre and around Johannesburg metropolitan area.

Achievements:

· M.U.K.A Project productions I directed were awarded internationally and locally.

· I developed M.U.K.A Project into a professionally organised and sustainable community Theatre Company.
